Transit Alliance Group, Inc. (TAG) is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization formed to provide resources to public and private sectors in order to create, develop, and/or expand upon transportation programs without the administrative overhead often found in other management organizations.

Services


Grant writing

Assist city and county governments and private for and non-profit agencies with grant applications for development and expansion programs.


TRAINING + CERTIFICATION

Develop standardized drug and alcohol programs.
Provide certification training for drivers and dispatchers to include CPR First Aid, PASS and Driver Improvement Training.
Provide training programs and continuing education services to transit staff and management professionals working in the transportation field.
Offer staff leadership and development programs to enhance knowledge, develop job skills and foster career development.
Assist with creating an environment that promotes effective interpersonal
relationships, communication, and the team dynamics necessary to enhance the organizational climate.

 


Contract management

Provide turnkey management of transit programs for agencies that lack expertise in the field.


DEVELOPMENT OF TRANSIT SERVICES

Assist agencies in creating a high performance work environment for superior
performance and outcomes. Specialize in organizational assessments, strategic planning, quality assurance, restructuring, policy and procedural audits, program monitoring, and evaluation design and implementation.
Expand transit options.
Developing and expanding transit programs.
Develop marketing strategy TAG as a resource for all transit related needs.
Design and develop employee work commute (ride-share) programs.
Develop statewide mobility management program to further coordinated transportation initiatives in the state.


BUSINESS CONSULTING

Assess agency administration and management, the physical operations and services.
Provide a comprehensive report of areas of weaknesses and corrective measures to avoid violations of state and federal transit regulations.

Assist transit agencies in understanding state and federal regulations. Assist transit agencies in the provision of a broad range of training services and the management of transportation programs.
Provide continued education and support for dispatchers, schedulers, and drivers relative to customer sensitivity, CPR, first aid, biohazard protection, driver safety, and a drug-free workplace.

Public Notice of Application for Section 5310 Funds for Provision of GA Department of Human Services Coordinated Transportation 

The Transit Alliance Group, Inc. is applying for funding under the Section 5310 Mobility of  Seniors and Individuals with Disabilities Transportation Program to meet the special needs of elderly and disabled individuals located in Bartow, Catoosa, Chattooga, Cobb, Dade, Douglas, Fannin, Floyd, Gilmer, Gordon, Haralson, Murray, Paulding, Pickens, Polk, Walker & Whitfield counties.

To assure that private for-profit transportation providers have a fair opportunity to participate in the development of this program, the Transit Alliance Group, Inc. solicits private sector input and participation.         

Disadvantaged Business Enterprises and any private for-profit transportation operator interested in providing or participating in any or all the above services should submit a written (electronic) notice of intent to:
